Primary Plus Media Launches Indian Edition of Teach Primary Magazine in Delhi!


New Delhi: Primary Plus Media, a wide-ranging and activity-based journal designed to enrich the knowledge of primary school children on Saturday launched the inaugural issue of Teach Primary magazine at an enchanting and colourful event held at the British Council,New Delhi.

Luminaries from the field of education and media graced the occasion and discussed various aspects of effective and pragmatic teaching practices necessary for a bright and prosperous India.

Alan Gemmell, Director, British Council library presided over the event which included other Guests of Honour Pooja Bedi, Deepak Narwal, Sandeep Marwah and last but not least Padma Bhushan awardee Dr Shyama Chona.

Some of the Programme Highlights were
A beautiful Choir performed by students of Lotus valley school, Gurugram.
Magician Tushar Kumar who is one of the leading performers in the country & is the son of highly acclaimed Illusionist Raj Kumar astound Everyone by his magic tricks.

In a Panel discussion, with Eminent personalities from Education and Academia spoke about, The evolution of the Indian education system which is now slowly maturing. The young population of india presents an opportunity as well as a challeng that is how to impart holistic education, so that an inclusive system of education is created that will make young indians into able citizens who’re able to live up to world class standards of learning.

On the occasion, Pooja Bedi, the editor of Teach Primary said, "We are excited to launch a magazine that will fulfil many of the needs of parents and educators in India. While Indian education has evolved over the past few decades, a need exists to provide youngsters with a holistic education that will channel the uniqueness of every child allowing every child to blossom. We expect Teach Primary to be a magazine that educators and parents use to help children reach their full potential."

"Today we have google, Students don’t have to cram anything. The word education have changed rapidly. The questions you should ask your kids is how do you want to contribute. What is your purpose. We should teach them skill set which can make them go beyond," added pooja.
