Punjab to withhold salaries of un-vaccinated govt employees, Haryana bans them from public places

Punjab (22/12/2021): The Government of Punjab on Wednesday issued orders that no salary would be given to government employees without vaccination certificates.

Meanwhile, Haryana has also banned un-vaccinated individuals from attending public gatherings.

“Those who are not fully vaccinated will not be allowed at public places after January 1- marriage hall, hotel, bank, any mall, any government office, bus, said Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij.

Moreover in the national capital, Delhi Disaster Management Authority in view of rising COVID cases and variant of concern-Omicron, has instructed DMs to take all required measures in their respective jurisdictions to control the spread. “No mask/No entry should be strictly ensured at shops/workplaces,” the directive said.

It has also banned all celebrations and events for New Year and Christmas. “All DMs and District DCPs shall ensure that no cultural event/gatherings/congregation/take place for celebrating Christmas or New Year in NCT of Delhi,” reads the DDMA order.
