New Delhi, 03rd June 2023: According to a statement issued by the defence ministry on Saturday, Indian Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold bilateral talks with his counterparts in the United States and Germany on June 5 and 6, respectively.
Lloyd Austin, the US Secretary of Defence, and Boris Pistorius, the German Federal Defence Minister, will arrive in New Delhi for the meetings, which will focus on a variety of bilateral defence cooperation topics, including industrial partnership.
Austin, who is set to arrive in India from Singapore on June 4 for a two-day visit, will be coming for the second time after visiting in March 2021.
On the other hand, Pistorius is scheduled to arrive in India on June 5 for a four-day trip during which he would meet with several defence startups at an event held by Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) in the Indian capital.
