RS – Recognition is the best form of motivation, giving this recognition in this unbiased manner something which industry needed, it creates healthiness and that creates a domino effect.
TN – Given the Indian economy scenario what’s the scope of the exhibition industry?
RS – It’s only the tip of the ice berg, we have 7% growth and young demography , democracy, demand and middle class of 400 million, where is such vastness not even whole of Europe. These are all the ingredients which exhibition industry needs. The best thing has happened that we have the state of the art venue which were missing earlier, like pragati madain which is been redeveloped and the upcoming Dwarka sector is coming and Reliance is coming up in Mumbai. The benefit of these venues are that all big players will get attracted, we will witness the growth in near future. The bureaucracy has been very helpful. Now days so much has been digitialized and every permission is online, so both these factors, will help in growth.
TN- WHATS THE MESSAGE FOR THE UPCOMING EXHIBITION COMPANY ?
RS – Do not waste like some other parts of the world for example China did, be sincere, protect the intellectual right and the market is immense. Do not copy but innovate.
