Richa Chaddha to make International debut through next Project ‘Aaina’

New Delhi, 25th July 2023: Richa Chadha has begun filming her debut international feature “Aaina” in London, alongside “Chronicles of Narnia” star William Moseley. Markus Meedt is directing the film, which is set in London and India. Based on true events, it will also be shot in several sites across India in September.

Richa believes “Aaina” has an intriguing tale and is excited to make her worldwide debut with the film. “I had read a few scripts for foreign projects, but nothing seemed to match. When Aaina came my way, I knew she was the one, and now that it’s truly happening, I’m overjoyed. The plot of the film is really engaging.

The actress said in a statement, “I have manifested a strong script for my international debut and Aaina was perfect for that. The film was completely shot in the UK and they have a very different working culture than ours. So, even with a good number of years of experience in the Indian movie industry, I felt like a fresher.”

Big Cat Films UK is producing the film, and the producers are Geeta Bhalla and PJ Singh.

In India, Richa will next be featured in “Fukrey 3,” resuming her role as Bholi Punjaban. She has also completed work on her first production, “Girls Will Be Girls.”
