RTI activist threatened for seeking information

An RTI activist in Greater Noida has alleged that he has been receiving threatening calls from a contractor seeking information about developmental works in the area.

The activist, Salimuddin Solanki, general secretary of Human Rights Revolution, an advocacy group, alleged that poor quality materials were used for road construction and sewer lines in his village.
