New Delhi:( 27/12/18) Hundreds of Contractual Teachers from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan on Thursday Staged Protest under banner of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
The Teachers were appointed on a contractual basis to assist primary school teachers in rural and urban areas but were not upgraded as permanent employees. The Agitators demanded Modi led government to take actions and have said that they will continue the protest until their demands for better pay and appointment as Permanent teachers are met.
Speaking to Ten News, Dr. Subhash Chandra, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Said,
“We are protesting at Jantar Mantar for our Demands of better pay and appointment as permanent employees. All the employees who are working from last 15-18 years, 5 years of 10 years they are workings as a contractual employees and they are working in very minimal wages. We just want that all the teachers wages should be regularised.”
He further said, “All the 240 teachers from our sangh should promoted to permanent and employees and they should get better pay as well. We will speak about this issue to the Ministry and from media our Demands should be reached towards Ministry as well. We request Prakash Javadekar to look into our demands and solve our problems.”
