Greater Noida (11/2/2018) : It has now been six days since Ehtisham Bilal, a student of Sharda University, went missing after he left the University on 28th October. Ehtisham, who was also assaulted on October 4 at Sharda University during a clash with other students, has not returned to campus since.

On the other side, family members of the missing Ehtisham Bilal are losing their patience and staged a protest at Press Enclave in Srinagar on Thursday. They appealed to Governor Satya Pal Malik to help them in locating their only son.

“We don’t have any information about our son. We had sent him to Delhi for studies. We appeal to the Government to trace out our child. We only want our child back and nothing else. We don’t have any clue yet, they won’t tell us exactly where he is. We appeal to Governor sahib to help us in finding our only child,” Ehtisham’s father, Bilal Ahmed said in a video that has since gone viral on social media.

“While the police had located his last location in Pulwama and Shopian districts of South Kashmir on Sunday, there have been no updates on his location since”, said Arvind Pathak of SHO Knowledge Park. He further added, “We are coordinating with Srinagar Police and are also in touch with the student’s parents.”

Investigators are keeping a close eye on his internet activity as his phone has been switched off since Sunday evening, the day he went missing. Recently, such activities in the Sharda University campus have harmed the social environment, spreading a wrong message in society.
