Sheetal Raj, Youngest Girl From Uttarakhand To Scale Mt Everest to be felicitated in Delhi Tommorow!

New Delhi: Sheetal Raj from Uttarakhand Who became the youngest girl in the world to scale Mt. Kanchenjunga in 2018, for which her name is enshrined in the Golden Book of World Records had added another feat in her kitty.



Sheetal has become the youngest girl from Uttarakhand to climb Mount Everest. The 23 year old, who hails from the Salmoda village in Pithoragarh district has managed to create history.

Sheetal was a part of an expedition called ‘Climbing Beyond the Summit: Everest Expedition 2019.’ This expedition was sponsored by several institutions. Scaling the highest peak in the world was the second grand achievement for Sheetal. The first achievement was scaling Mount Kanchenjunga, which is currently the third highest peak in the world.

To Celebrate her Achievement, Manoj Gorkela, Deputy Advocate General of Supreme Court of India and Gorkela Law Office is honoring Sheetal for her achievement tomorrow that is on 30th May 2019 .

The Felicitation will take place at Indian Law Institute, opposite Supreme Court of India, 4 PM Onwards. It would be attended by the who’s who from Uttarakhand , mountaineering and also from adventure sports .
