Shekar Suman To Make Comeback on Small Screen with Sab TV’s Hera Pherie

New Delhi: Sony SAB television, always known for its comic and tension buster television serials like Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma, Lapataganj and so on. Continuing it’s legacy, SAB is going to launch much awaited show ‘Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie’ featuring Shekhar Suman and Swati Shah as a married couple.
Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie will premiere on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, Monday to Friday at 9. 30 hours on Sony SAB.
Lead actors of the serial launched the show on Monday afternoon in Delhi. On that occasion, the lead actor of the serial Shekhar Suman, who is making come back with this serial on television said,
“Every day event with a husband and wife, humor in day to day life is the USP of the show. Moreover, harmonious relationship between a married couple, neighbours are some of the message of the serial. ”
The show is based on the premise of a famous axiom ‘Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’. The show will showcase various hilarious situations that arise in day to day life between the married couples due to gender roles and differences.
Story of the serial
Set in suburban Mumbai, the plot revolves around the lives of two young neighbours, Tandon’s and Desai’s. Bhupi Tandon played by Shekhar Suman, is a man in his fifties and believes that the ‘Man’ is the boss of the house and loves to dominate his wife. His wife Neetu is a ritualistic traditional woman, a loving mother and a caring wife. The role of Neetu is being played by well-known face of the television Swati Shah.
Their younger neighbours and friends are another married couple Parimal and Rupal Desai. Parimal, played by Amit Mistry is a complete opposite to Bhupi and is a wife-fearing man! Parimal is a manager in broking firm and is always entangled with transactions of the stock exchange. Enacted by Amit Trivedi, Rupal comes from rich upbringing and is constantly buying material comforts to upgrade her lifestyle much to the hopelessness of her husband due to which he is always submerged under the burden of EMI.
Adding to camaraderie is 25-year-old Goldie Sharma, who is a hopeless romantic. Goldie acted by Kevin Dave is single and always ready to mingle. He finds his dream girl in every girl he sees. He is however constantly dumped by the girls for his lack of focus and seriousness.
