Smart India Hackathon 2025: GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management Gets Nodal Centre Status

Greater Noida News (06 December 2025): The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), in partnership with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has officially announced the 8th edition of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025, one of the country’s most extensive national innovation initiatives. The grand finale of SIH 2025 will be held from 8 December 2025 across 60 nodal centres nationwide.

The GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management (GLBITM), Greater Noida, has been selected as a prestigious Nodal Centre for the Hardware Edition of SIH 2025, placing it among only 18 such centres in India.

Grand Finale Schedule

Software Edition: 8–9 December 2025

Hardware Edition: 8–12 December 2025

Total Nodal Centres: 60 (42 Software + 18 Hardware)

Unprecedented National Participation

SIH 2025 has recorded remarkable engagement across India, reflecting the country’s strong commitment to Viksit Bharat @2047 through innovation-based development.

Themes cover a broad spectrum including Space Technology, MedTech, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Renewable Energy, Defence Technology, Smart Automation, AgriTech, Smart Education, and several emerging fields.
