Sport India 2022 set to return to Expo Mart this August, Bodybuilding Championship, Fashion Show major attraction

Noida, 29 July 2022: A mega fair for the sports and fitness industry, Sport India 2022, is all set for its 10th edition from 4th to 6th August 2022. This 3 days expo will be held at India Expo Center, Greater Noida, and will host over 100 exhibitors with an expected footfall of over 10,000 visitors.

While talking to Ten News about Sport India, Swadesh Kumar, CEO of the organizing company, Indian Exhibition Services says, “Sport India 2022, is India’s biggest sport and fitness business expo. It is our 10th India International Sporting Goods Show. It will include showcasing of sport goods, sports wear, gym and fitness equipment, sport flooring, adventure equipment, fitness gadgets and so on by various manufacturers who are participating in the exhibition. We have invited a lot of dealers and distributors from all over India as business visitors. We have opened this expo for general people as well because the main motto of this expo is to promote sport and sport business.”

The 3-day event consists of several unique activities including, Mr. India and Ms. India Bodybuilding Championship, which is the biggest event of its kind in India. Another highlight of the expo is Sport India Fashion Show which takes place only in India and promotes sportswear and sports goods on ramps. Other attractions include karate, yoga, and golf.

 

The expo will also host several top sports personalities including the Olympian, Arjun Rana, and Arjuna awardee Dinesh Bansal amongst other ex-players.

Speaking of Noida region’s potential in terms of sports, Swadesh says, “Noida and Greater Noida have high-class sports infrastructure. This expo being held here will benefit the Universities, colleges, and schools in these regions as they will find a lot of sports flourishing here and sports goods and equipment because they have to provide sports facilities in their respective institutions for which this expo can help by putting them in contact with several vendors.”

Lastly, Swadesh Kumar said, “The Sports market in India is extremely big and it is growing day by day. By 2025, India is expected to be a great leader in sports. The government of India is working on that by providing several schemes and supporting the players and developing sports infrastructure. I’m fully confident that Indian players will land in big spots.”
