SSC Scam : Students Refuse to Call Off Protest, Demand Written Confirmation of CBI Inquiry

New Delhi: In the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) paper leak case, SSC Aspirants continued Their Protest for Consecutive Eight Day. On Monday, Home Minister Rajnath Singh ordered CBI probe. The central government said they have
accepted the demand of students. The CBI will investigate the number of SSC related examinations that have taken place from February 17 to February 22, and the examination to be held on 9th March will also be under CBI supervision.

“We have accepted the demands of the protesting candidates and have given orders for a CBI inquiry. The protests should now stop,” Union home minister.

As many as 190,000 candidates appeared for the combined graduate level exam held from February 17 to 21. Still candidates who’ve alleged that the question paper was leaked and that there was mass cheating in SSC Exams , said they will continue to protest until all their demands are met. Speaking to Ten News, Students said, “There are still some discrepancies. The commission has verbally agreed for a CBI probe, but has not issued anything in written. Hence, the protest continues until further action is taken.
