Dec 21, 2022: On Wednesday, union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya urged Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Ashok Gehlot to strictly follow the Covid-19 guidelines during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.
In a letter to the Congress leaders, the health minister expressed that the use of masks and sanitiser must be implemented and added that only vaccinated people should take part in the yatra.
As global cases surge, the Centre has urged the Congress party to postpone the Bharat Jodo Yatra if following Covid protocol is not possible.
