Sunny Deol’s son to tie knot with long time girlfriend, Dharmendra to skip pre-wedding ceremonies

Mumbai (13/06/2023): Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol is poised to marry Bimal Roy’s granddaughter Drisha Acharya, and the festivities have begun at the Deol residence in Mumbai.

While footage and photographs of Bobby, Sunny, and Abhay Deol having a good time at Karan’s pre-wedding festivities have already gone viral, veteran actor Dharmendra has decided to skip his grandson’s pre-wedding festivities.

Dharmendra will just be in attendance at Karan and Drisha’s wedding. The actor from Rani Aur Rocky Ki Prem Kahaani explained his decision to ETimes. He stated, “Let the children have fun. If I am around they are likely to get inhibited. I do not want them to miss out on any of the fun.”

The renowned actor had previously expressed his joy at Karan’s wedding and added that the pair has his blessing. He also talked about how Karan told his family about his decision to marry Drisha. Dharmendra claimed that Karan first informed his mother (Sunny Deol’s wife Pooja Deol), who then informed Sunny, who then informed him.

Meanwhile, a video of Sunny Deol dancing at his son’s pre-wedding event has gone viral on social media. In it, the Gadar actor is seen dancing to the song “Morni Banke” from Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bhadhai Ho while wearing a black shirt paired with blue denims.

Karan and Drisha, who had been childhood sweethearts, reportedly got engaged on his grandparents’ wedding anniversary, in a close-knit ceremony.
