Surajpur Police sets example, Kidnapped child recovered with-in 36 hours, lady kidnapper arrested

Greater Noida( 15/05/2017) : Surajpur police has set a commendable example by recovering an eight month old child and cracking the kidnapping bid within 36 hours of the incidence.
On Saturday 13th May Premlata w/o Brijesh Kumar had registered a complaint regarding kidnapping of her 8 month old infant named Prince. In the complaint registered at Surajpur police station she named her neighbour Neelam as the prime suspect in the case. After filling of the case police teams were formed and were immediately pressed into action.
Raids were conducted at New Delhi railway station, Ghaziabad Railway station as well as different roadways bus stands. Pictures of the suspect Neelam was also circulated through social media on various forums.
The team equipped with surveillance and leads finally traced the suspect at Pari chowk and arrested her with the child on May 15th. Convict Neelam has confessed to her crime though the exact motive remains unclear. In the meantime kidnapper made no attempt to contact the child’s family neither were any ransom demands made.
A case under section 369 has been registered against the lady kidnapper who as of now seems to have been working individually.
Recovered child is in good health and has been handed over to his parents.
Police officers including Surajpur SHO Manish Saxena, SI Madanpal Singh, SI Mahipal Singh, Shakti Singh, Sanjeev Kumar of SP RA Surveillance Cell and lady constables Manisha Khatoon and Anshu kumar were the part of special team which carried rapid-raids and completed investigation under supervision of SP (RA) Suniti in record time.
Further investigations might reveal the exact cause behind kidnapping though prima facie it is being treated as a case of human trafficking.
