Tablets distributed to students at Galgotias College under UP Govt’s ‘DigiShakti’ scheme
Under the UP Free Smartphone Tablet Scheme “DigiShakti” of the Uttar Pradesh Government, tablets were distributed to students at Galgotias College.
To make the youth self-reliant and well versed with technology, tablets were distributed to students at Galgotias Educational Institutions (GCET, GIMT, & GCOP) located in Knowledge Park under the UP Free Smartphone Tablet Scheme “DigiShakti” of the Uttar Pradesh Government. The chief guest of the program, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddha Nagar, former Union Minister of the Government of India, and current Chairman of the Housing Committee of the Lok Sabha, sent his best wishes to all the students in his message. His message was read out to the students from the stage. In his message, the honorable MP said that “the teacher is the nation’s creator” and students are the invaluable heritage of our nation. The bright future of the nation is in their hands. Therefore, both the central and state governments want our students to develop holistically and bring glory to India on the global stage. He further added that he feels proud to say that students of Galgotias College have made their institution and nation proud in all fields. He sent his blessings for their bright future. Jai Hind.
In today’s program, tablets and smartphones were distributed to 883 third-year students of engineering and pharmacy at Galgotias College. On this occasion, the CEO of the college group, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, praised this important step of the government, saying that the government’s objective of providing free tablets and smartphones in UP is clear. It is to advance students in the digital world. This will enable them to receive better and higher-quality education, helping them find different educational resources and employment opportunities. Students can empower and make themselves self-reliant without any hassle. In true sense, this significant step of the government will further strengthen the theme of “Developed India,” the dream of the honorable Prime Minister. If the youth of the country is empowered, the nation will surely progress.
The program was conducted in the special presence of the college’s Director Dr. Mohd. Asim Qadri, Dr. J.P. Pathak, Dr. Vikram Sharma, Registrar Vinod Kumar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and other teachers.
