‘Tarak Mehta…’ Under Fire Once again, Actress Claims she was ‘Suicidal’ while Working on the Show

New Delhi (India), 6th June 2023: Another actress from the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah says working on the show was “torturing.” Monika Bhadoriya who played Baga’s love interest Bawri in the show has come up with a new set of allegations against the makers of the show.

Monika Bhadoriya, stated that the creators of the popular TV drama Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) mistreated her when she was working on the show.

She stated that she had suicidal thoughts at the time. She earlier stated that the producers did not pay her three-month dues, which totalled roughly 4-5 lakhs, for almost a year.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Monika described her days on the show’s set as “hell” and claimed that the show’s producers were unsupportive when her mother went through cancer treatment

She stated, “I would spend the night at the hospital and they would call me early in the morning for a shoot. Even if I would say I am not in the right state of mind, they would force me to come. The worst part was that even after coming on shoot, I would wait, I had nothing to do.”

In another interview with Pinkvilla, “I went through a lot of family tragedies. I lost my mother and grandmother, both within a very short period of time…During this time, I was working for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which was also very torturing. So all this torture and thoughts made me feel that I should commit suicide.”

Jennnifer Mistry Bansiwal has also come up and accused the creators of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah of sexual misconduct. Disha Vakani, Priya Ahuja, Shailesh Lodha, and now Monika have all spoken out against the producers. The show which is loved by millions has been running for nearly a decade with great success.
