Today, March 23, 2019, on the occasion of 89th Shaheed Diwas, we bring to you a conversation with old age people and renowned youth activist.
Ten News when asked a 72 year old man , ‘What change have you noticed in the mindset of people regarding patriotism in these 71 years of independence?’, he said,
“Although I don’t have much idea about India before independence but I have seen the 60’s era. When we relate the time of independence with current stage, patriotism has just diminished with a remarkable pace.”
Anupam, Delhi Chief, Swaraj India was when asked about his opinion regarding the mindset of current generation which believes patriotism is clicking pictures with the national flag, said,
“You are right. Today, I want to share what I have observed in my past. I have seen a huge fall in patriotism among youngsters. Uploading a picture with national flag is not patriotism. Our youth have to step forward with the steps marked by our martyrs like Bhagat Singh so as to prove their patriotic mindsets.”
