Too many vacancies in Delhi University

In the Faculty of Law, only 12 of 100 sanctioned posts for associate professor are occupied by permanent staff; the last appointment to that rank was made in 2007. The number of vacancies is worryingly high in postgraduate departments of Delhi University.
