New Delhi, 3rd June. Union Minister Shri M.J. Akbar, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari, MPs Shri Maheish Girri & Shri Ramesh Bidhuri along with Mayor North DMC Smt. Preety Aggarwal, senior office bearers of the party today visited the Making of Developing India Mela popularly called M.O.D.I. FEST set up at Red Fort Grounds.
Prominent amongst those present were Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Shri Jai Prakash, Shri Praveen Shankar, Shri Subhash Arya, Shri Vijay Bhagat, Shri Tilak Raj Kataria, Shri Santosh Pal, Smt. Anju Jain, Shri Ravi Kaptan, Shri Avtar Singh, Shri Sanjeev Sharma, Shri Roshan Kansal, Shri Arvind Garg & others.
Chandni Chowk Councilor Shri Ravi Kaptan & group of local residents welcomed & felicitated Special Visitors of the day Shri M.J. Akbar, Shri Manoj Tiwari, Shri Maheish Girri & Shri Ramesh Bidhuri.
In this M.O.D.I. FEST there are porta cabins which offer information on over a 100 public welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi government. Special stress has been laid to give information on Women Empowerment, Skill India, Farmers Betterment, Digital India, Mudra & other Youth Loan Schemes.
Shri Manoj Tiwari said that in our country the earlier UPA Government had no achievements to showcase and so in 10 years people never got to see any such Vikas Mela which we today find Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi government organizing.
The story of development under PM Shri Modi is a unending story and it gives us a opportunity to not only see & understand the ongoing development but to also give our suggestions for national development and betterment of the society.
Union Minister Shri M.J. Akbar said that Delhi more so old Delhi is the heart of the country which attracts people from all over India. Today a city of few lacs in 1947 stands out as a true biggest cosmopolitan city where people of all religions & start a live & grow together.
Shri Akbar said that the progress we see all over India today is the result of eradication of corruption from governance. The country is today progressing because the leader of the country is working with a clean conscience who speaks less performs more.
He hailed the spirit of PM Shri Modi in setting up targets and then running against time to achieve them. Most of these targets were never even visualized by the earlier governments.
Jan Dhan, Swatch Bharat & Beti Bachao Beti Padhao are social change programmes which earlier governments thought can never be implemented have proved to be social game changers. Jan Dhan gave an opportunity for poor to bring their very small savings to banks and take benefit of government schemes through these accounts eliminating corrupt middlemen.
He hailed PM Modi’s vision to give over 2 crores Ujjwala Gas Connections to poor women bringing a smile to their faces.

Shri Akbar said it’s Prime Minister’s spirit which made Demonetization a success yet ensured good progress of the country even in that period. GDP of the country even during Demonetization phase was better then what we saw between 2009 to 2014 under UPA Government.
He called upon people & party men to work for the country as sincerely dedicatedly as Prime Minister does.
Shri Akbar said due to Prime Minister Shri Modi today world is extended India with world accepting him as its tallest leader. The growing FDI in India speaks volumes on the world’s trust in economy under PM Shri Modi.
