Unveiling the Life of Tipu Sultan through the Lens of History and Scholarship with Dr. Vikram Sampath

New Delhi (04/12/2024): Prabha Khaitan Foundation (PKF) under its book launch initiative Kitaab, brought together history enthusiasts, literature lovers, and scholars under one roof at India Habitat Centre in Delhi to celebrate eminent author and historian Dr Vikram Sampath’s latest literary contribution, his tenth book, Tipu Sultan: The Saga of Mysore’s Interregnum (1760-1799).

The book was launched in the presence of an enthusiastic audience by the distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. S Jaishankar, Hon Minister of External Affairs, GOI. Special guest Mr. Pavan K. Varma, Author, Diplomat and Former MP (Rajya Sabha) and Chair of the session Ambassador Bhaswati Mukherjee, President, India Habitat Centre. The evening took attendees on a profound journey into the historical narrative surrounding the eighteenth-century Mysore ruler, Tipu Sultan.
