UP autos seek inter-state permits

Even as the Aam Aadmi Party government is planning to provide inter-state permits to 5,500 autorickshaws, the Noida transport department and the auto union have expressed the need for issuing a similar facility in UP to balance flow of commuters between the two states.

Transport department officials said the number of inter-state permits for Noida and Ghaziabad can be worked out by local authorities.
