Vishvaraj Infrastructure Ltd., a company that is envisioned to build infrastructure that improves the quality of life for citizens at large was initiated in 1999. It has emerged over the last decade and half as a corporate entity with core competencies in formulating and executing highly innovative solutions via the PPP route that are win-win for all stakeholders.The company started its operations with BOT projects in the roads & highways sector from the stateof Maharashtra and subsequently diversified into Water Supply (24X7) projects in Maharashtra & Karnataka over the years. Recently the company has made foray into Waste Water Treatment & Reuse Projects by securing a PPP contract for same in Nagpur. Slowly and steadily the company is engaging in expanding its footprint to States like Rajasthan, Karnataka, Haryana, West Bengal, and Bihar among others. It is perhaps the only Indian company which has created its niche in Water Management sector in such a short span of time.The company has executed / in execution projects worth approximately INR 27500 mn across the three sectors primarily through PPP contracting and few through EPC route. It has projects equivalent to 933 lane kms under its kitty in the roads & highway sector where as in 24X7 water supply business it caters to a population of nearly 3.2 mn approximate 4 lac households and 823 MLD of water treatment projects under its management. In the waste water Management & reuse segment it will be executing country’s largest PPP project of 200 mld. It is a tribute to the company’s outstanding performance that national and international firms have expressed their interests for partnership on equal footing for mega size projects. It has partnered with global players like Veolia Water, Drake & Skull, C-tech, L&T and IL&FS. With its global partners, VIL has marked its presence with significant achievements and now enhancing its presence all across the country which an objective to become the market leader in Water and Waste Water Management sector in India. The company takes pride in being the pioneer of the first ever 24X7 full city water supply project in India – ‘Nagpur 24X7 Water Supply Scheme’ which is acclaimed both nationally & internationally. The project has been selected for “National Best Practice through PPP mode” and showcased as a model case study to other cities at the launch of Central Government initiatives Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) & Smart City. It also envisages the “Smart City” concept as a potential domain at the cusp of creating a large market for Water Management. Apart from the latest methods and techniques, VIL has introduced automation in its working styles. Deployment of latest technology, project management and control tools, safety manuals are the hallmarks of company’s operations.
