We want to develop Greater Noida as the smartest city of India : Debasish Panda

On 27th Foundation day of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GNIDA, Debasish Panda said that they were going though hard times due to the fund crunch.

“We are going through tuff time and the authority need huge funds to make Greater Noida develop, smart and citizen friendly, so, we can count on this city as one of the smartest city of the country,” said GNIDA CEO Debasish Panda during a programme held at City Park to commemorate Greater Noida foundation Day.

 

“Greater Noida is better place to live in comparison to nearby cities because we have fresh air,” Panda added.

Following the programme, scores of cultural programme was organised by the students of Savitri Bahi Phule Balika Inter College and Gautam Buddha Balak Inter College of Greater Noida. Students performed on several folk songs of Uttar Pradesh like Kajri (a Bihari folk dance). Later, GNIDA, CEO, Debasish Panda conferred the prize to Greater Noida authority for defeating Greater Noida Press Club in a cricket match held on January 26 at Greater Noida stadium. Students of Savitri Bahi Phule Balika won 1st prize for today’s event.

While talking to Ten News, GNIDA, CEO, Debasish Panda said, “Soon, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aditiyanath will hand over the keys of 20,000 constructed houses to the resident in a programme. The authority is leaving no stone unturned to make this place citizen friendly and focused on boosting Rail, Road and air connectivity. The process of building Jewar airport has been done”.

Soon the construction will start. Metro will start Trial likely from June and we have already started bus services for better connectivity,” said Debasish Panda.The Foundation Day programme was graced by ACEOs B K Tripathi , K K Gupta , GM Planning Ms Leenu Sehgal
, GM Property R K DEV , Ms Rima Dey , Aditya Ghildyal , Gajanan Mali amongst other residents and media persons . On this day City park was thrown open for public without any ticket.
