Yamuna Authority to rejuvenate 100 primary schools in Jewar constituency

Greater Noida :  For enhancing the quality of education and infrastructure facilities in 100 primary schools under the Jewar constituency, MLA Dhirendra Singh conducted a meeting with Arun Veer Singh, CEO, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority and other senior officials on Thursday.

During the meeting, projects worth over 50 cores were finalized. MLA Dhirander Singh said, “In Jewar constituency, YEIDA will be rejuvenating 100 primary schools at once as a mission. For the same, YEDIA CEO has proposed to launch ‘Operation Rejuvenation’ and its draft has also been prepared. Soon all the schools will be in a new look. Apart from this, the roads in villages, drinkable water and other problems related to farmers will also be addressed by the authority” he said.

During the meeting, Additional Chief Executive Officer Ravindra Singh, Monica Rani along with General Manager KK Singh were present. Dhirendra Singh also asked the officials to prepare development plans for villages including Bhatta Parsaul, Achepur and Mutaina.

 

Earlier, due to the Bhatta Kisan movement in the year 2011, this entire area was declared as green belt in the Master Plan of Yamuna Authority. Recently, the farmers of these villages met the CEO under the leadership of Dhirendra Singh, after which they gave their approval for land acquisition for development schemes in the region.
