#YogiAdityanath visits two-time acid attack survivor at #KGMU, assures strict action
Lucknow, March 24: The newly-elected Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath on Friday visited the King George’s Medical University in Lucknow and met the acid attack and gangrape survivor who was made to drink acid on Thursday near the Lucknow railway station. The incident was reported few days after the debut of the Anti-Romeo squads in the state which have been constituted to safeguard the women from the miscreants.
The Uttar Pradesh Child Development Minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi also visited the survivor at the hospital and assured all possible help. She also announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh and free treatment for the victim.
