A chaotic and disastrous stone pelting incident that has happened today morning in a posh Noida society has shocked every citizen of the city. The videos that went viral thereafter showcase a situation that Indian citizens are only used to of seeing from a violence -hit Kashmir valley.

People found it hard to believe that such mockery of law and order is even possible in National Capital Region. However after the incident was brought under control another legal war has started between the two parties.

The husband of the 26-year-old woman, Zohra Bibi, has filed a FIR with the Noida police against the employers, a couple who live in the apartment with their seven-year-old daughter.

Alleged abduction of maid

It is also being circulated through some quarters of social media that maid named Zohra Bibi was abducted by a resident family on fake charges of theft. However the CCTV footage from Mahagun Moderne that has come to our possession shows the maid being escorted out by society guards at 06:00 AM in the morning. It isn’t clear as to where she stayed during the night, indeed the tower from which she can be seen emerging is different from the one where the family alleging theft resides. The women was also taken to hospital in the morning after she went out of the society.

In the pics below she can also be seen walking towards the gate of the society at around 06:18 Am in the morning. According to the eyewitnesses, it was also the same time when the unruly mob has started gathering at the society walls. Gate was broke open and stone pelting started little later.

The glaring question?

It is still to be investigated over where exactly did the maid stayed for the night? Some people however hint that she stayed at an elderly women’s house in the society who also happens to be one of her employer.

The night before, police had reached to the resident to investigate whereabouts of the maid on her husbands behest, why didn’t it search the premises or attempted to locate the maid?

What lapse allowed such escalation of situation where hundreds of people formed a mob and vandalised a gated community?

Till these questions are answered and a proper and prompt investigation reveals the actual truth of the incident as well as law of land is used to strictly dealt with culprits, the safety of large number of Noida residents will remain under doubt.
