ZTE User Group Forum 2015 started with international experienced key players in building smart cities in India
New Delhi: A 2 – day conference of ZTE User Group Forum 2015 with theme “ Be Digital Be Smart “ is launched on 5th may 2015 with international experienced key players in building smart cities in India. This is the first time, ZTE soft hosts its User Group Forum in India in an intention to be clearly visible in India for smart city projects. It has experience in such projects as it has worked in 38 smart city projects across the globe including china. The technical support of the ZTESoft will be the focused area in building smart cities. ZTESoft, a Chinese telecom gear maker is interested to invest 500 crore in the building of smart cities in india.
While inaugurating the ZTE User Group Forum 2015, Dr. Phillp Lue CEO, ZTE India Said, “The globalization has given tremendous opportunities to expand our business across the globe. As a result, we are here in India to invest in smart cities and we will have a dedicated team for the project”.
Ben Zhou, CEO International, ZTESoft said, “ we will provide complete technical support in building smart city project as we have experienced of providing tech support, IT solutions and smart card solutions, i.e single smart card can be used for Smart City, Smart transportation, Smart Card, Smart Home, Smart Oilfield, Smart Energy, Smart Tourism, Smart Social connection, Smart Network.
“We are working with different Indian service providers like Idea, Airtel, Reliance, etc. and IT software giant tech Mahindera, Tisco etc. Therefore, we are very much sure to develop smart city model solutions. At present we are into 70 countries having 120 operators and 550 million subscribers”, said Andy Nel CEO, South Asia/India/CIS Business group, ZTESoft group.
Other speakers who have elaborated various areas focusing on building of smart city in India. Mr. Ivan Cario Business Development Director ZTEsoft presented ZTE’s business prospects in details, Mr. Larry Goldman, Head of Telecoms Software Research, Analysis Mason, spoke different dimensions of telecom operators challenges. Mr. Arvind Srivastav, SVP Reliance, Mr. Sibusiso Walter Sabelo Mhlongo CTO, Roshan , Mr. Kenneth Dilbeck, VP Collaboration R & D, TM Forum, Mr. Didier Petitprez, STG-ISV Solution Enablement Manager for Telco, IBM, Mr. Jena Philip, Director, Tech Mahindra, Mr. Amit Saharan, ZTESoft India have also deliberated in the forum.
On the closing day of the 2 – day ZTE User Group Forum 2015 will have eminent personalities, Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of State, Labour and Social Empowerment, Mr. Nihal Chand, Minister of State, Panchyat Raj and Mr. Vijya Sharma, Minister of State, Socil Justice and Empowerment and there will be an announcement of model structure of smart city and smart card.
