New Delhi (India), 24th March 2023: The Meta owned messaging app announced on Thursday, a list of features in their upcoming update. Users can now connect their WhatsApp accounts to up to four devices, ensuring that their chats are synced, encrypted, and available even when their phone is off.
WhatsApp tweeted and informed users, “No charger, no problem. Now you can link WhatsApp to up to four devices so your chats stay synced, encrypted, and accessible even after your phone goes offline.”
Users will also have access to new features, such as video and audio calling options and device linking for nearly all devices, after updating the WhatsApp app on their Windows desktop.
Further, on Thursday the platform announced the release of a brand-new app created especially for Windows.
Similar to the mobile app, the new WhatsApp for Windows desktop is said to provide a quicker and more seamless experience when using the app across multiple platforms. WhatsApp has greatly simplified the device linking procedure for its users.
