100 Noida industries told to shut down, fined Rs 300 crore

NOIDA: Nearly 100 industrial units in sectors 65 and 67 have been directed to pay Rs 300 crore as fine and shut down operations immediately, following an Allahabad high court order on Friday.

A PIL against the industries charged them with encroaching on land that belongs to the fisheries and animal husbandry department.
