100 trees illegally felled in #Indirapuram

GHAZIABAD: Illegal felling of trees is rampant in a partly waterlogged area in Indirapuram and more than 100 trees have already been cut, despite authorities’ claims of increasing the green cover in Ghaziabad. Residents say that trees are being cut down at dawn everyday and the district authorities seem to be turning a blind eye to the illegal felling in the area that lies across NH-24 from Khoda Colony and spread over a few hundred yards.
