MoS Home Kiran Rijuju is misleading the nation on Malegaon

Irrefutable evidence against Senior RSS functionaries

Phone records show RSS leader Indresh was in touch with key suspect before and after the blasts

BJP has now fielded Modi Government’s Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiran Rijiju to shield the senior RSS functionaries in the Malegaon blasts case. In his desperation to save RSS functionaries involved in the case Mr. Rijiju misled the nation on RSS functionaries’ role in the case.

Mr. Rijuju in his tweet denied existence of Senior IPS officer Navneet Rajan’s note saying he had been transferred to his parent cadre from the CBI in 2009 and that there was no question of existence of any such report. To nail Mr. Rijiju’s lie, Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashish Khetan held a press conference today and placed Mr. Navneet Rajan’s report indicting senior RSS functionary Mr. Indresh Kumar and others in public domain. The three page report with the headline,” Evidence against Indresh Kumar in the conspiracy to cause blasts”ends with a comment, “These are evidence which can be used against Indresh Kumar. We must examine him to elicit more information. Further we may inform the MHA about the activities of RSS, as RSS cadres are involved along with top leaders in terrorist activities, to initiate appropriate action as per law.”

Putting more documents in the public domain, Khetan said,”NIA had irrefutable evidence against senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar and it wanted to take him into custody for interrogation. One of the clinching piece of evidence was log of telephone calls  between Mr. Indresh Kumar and key accused in the blast Sunil Joshi, who has since been killed. Records show that Indresh was in touch with Sunil Joshi. He spoke to Joshi before and after the blast. Call records indicate that Sunil Joshi was talking to Indresh and passing on instructions to other accused and bomb planters.” Khetan challenged Rijiju to come out refute the charges he was making.

Ashish Khaitan urged Mr. Kiran Rijiju to answer his questions with the same promptness that he showed in misleading the nation with his tweet.  Khetan said Mr. Rijiju must answer his following questions:

  1. Is it not true that Mr. N R Wasan was second in command in the NIA in 2012 when S C Sinha was heading it?
  1. Is it not true that Mr. N R Wasan was Additional Director General of the NIA in 2012?
  1. Is it not true that Mr. N R Wasan was supervising investigation in Malegaon case, Mecca Masjid blast, Ajmer blast and Samjhauta Express blasts?
  1. Is it not true that he prepared and handed over a three page note and put before the then Director General of the NIA S C Sinha?
  1. Is it not true that the call records between Indresh Kumar and Sunil Joshi put in Public domain are with the CBI and have been part of the investigation by the NIA.

Ashish Khetan said that the nation expects that Mr. Rijiju as MoS Home would not mislead the nation on the issue of national security and tell the truth.
