New Delhi, June 6, 2016: It is with great pride and honour we announce that ASBAH’s – Platinum Basmati Rice has been awarded the “Superior Taste Award 2016” at Brussels on June 2nd 2016. This award assumes more significance and importance as DCP India was the only Company from India to be bestowed this distinction. The International Taste & Quality Institute – iTQi – based in Brussels is the world’s leading organization dedicated to testing and promoting superior food and drink products. The Superior Taste Award is a unique international recognition that is focused on the blind judgment of Chefs and Sommeliers. Judges are selected from the 15 most prestigious European culinary and sommeliers associations. The jury of more than 120 Chefs and Sommelier carry out the tastings of the food and drink products; followed by a strict sensory analysis process.
The award was received by Mr. Gaurav Jain, Director – DCP INDIA (P) Ltd in the presence of awardees and other participants from across the world. He thanked The International Taste & Quality Institute – iTQi, Brussels and their Jury members and said, “Standing here on this dais amongst the winners from all over the world, I am overwhelmed with joy as a proud Indian.
