2017 has found its first No. I in Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of you”

Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking a new career high for the already incredibly successful artist. The song’s beginning at the top of the Hot 100 is a rare feat when it comes to the charts, and only a small fraction of the tracks that have made it all the way to the peak have started their run there.

Even in India, the song is topping all streaming charts ahead of Bollywood music! The lyric video which was released the same day as the audio release has had a massive traction too.

“Shape Of You” is one of two new songs that the British pop star released last Friday, officially kicking off the campaign for his third full-length ÷ “divide.” The other song, “Castle On The Hill,” is has also performing exceptionally well .
