22 SPORTS STUDENTS HAVE PLAYED AT NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVEL IN SEHWAG INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL: VIRENDER SEHWAG
New Delhi: Former cricketer Virender Sehwag said that Sehwag International school have bette facilities and are one of the top most school in the sports fraternity.
While addressing the event here, Sehwag said that the school has the academy boasts of a state-of-the-art multi gym, international standard sporting facilities not only cricket but other facilities as well.
He said that the government has come up with new initiatives to help the sports players to make their future in the games.
“The various sports associations will now have a high quality sports science, rehabilitation, and elite athlete training centre, along with other sporting facilities under one roof,” adds Sehwag.
Sehwag said that despite from a local area in Delhi, whatever I could done is because of coaches and my own inspiration for the game.
“I am from Najafgarh, an area of gangsters but me and my parents support helped me to showcase my country through cricket,” he said.
He added that all the players who wanted to go to make their careers in the sports should work hard and maintain the discipline during the game.
The 5th National CSR summit based on the theme “Enhancing Opportunities to change the destiny of sports” in India organised by Shikhar Organisation at Indian Habitat Centre on Tuesday here in New Delhi.
