25-year-old booked for wife’s suicide

Gugaon: A man employed with a cab aggregator has been booked for abetting the suicide of his wife after she was found dead in their house on Saturday. The woman’s family alleged that constant fights with the husband had pushed the woman to commit suicide.
Bhavna (20) lived in New Colony with Kunal Verma (25). She worked as a beautician. The couple had married two years ago but there were constant tiffs between the two as Verma’s parents allegedly did not accept Bhavna, police said. On Saturday, Verma had left for work leaving Bhavna alone at home. In the evening, her brother Naman and mother Asha went to her house and found her hanging from a ceiling fan, police said.
“A case has been registered on the basis of the statements by Naman,” said ACP Hawa Singh.
