263 Indian students who have been evacuated from Rome today by a special Air India flight. #Coronavirus

New Delhi (22/03/2020) : Fresh batch of 263 people today reached to ITBP Quarantine facility Chhawla from Rome, Italy. The group include 56 females and 207 males including a child. This batch will be housed at this facility for the next 14 days.

Till now total of 1023 individuals were taken to ITBP Chhawla Quarantine Facility.

Groups:
1st Batch- 103 people evacuated from Wuhan, China on 1st February, 2020.
2nd Batch- 303 people evacuated from Wuhan, China on 2nd February, 2020.
3rd Batch- 112 people evacuated from Wuhan, China on 27th February, 2020.
4th Batch- A Group of 21 Italians (Tourists) and 3 Indians screened at the centre on 3 and 4 March, 2020.
5th Batch- 218 people evacuated from Milan, Italy on 15th March, 2020.
6th Batch- 263 people evacuated from Rome, Italy on 22nd March, 2020.

Successful quarantine was ensured for 43 foreign nationals also including people from 7 friendly nations including Bangladesh, China, Myanmar, Maldives, US, South Africa and Madagascar. Total 518 evacuees have already been released after successful quarantine from the facility.
