3 killed in Rajiv Chowk hit-and-run

Gurgaon: Three people on a bike that had slowed down on missing an exit were killed in a hit-and-run accident on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway’s Rajiv Chowk flyover late on Tuesday. The trio died on the spot when a car rammed into the bike. All three were employees of private firms in Delhi and Gurgaon.According to the police, around midnight on Tuesday, 45-year-old Rajiv Mehto, 32-year-old Chand and 25-year-old Ajay Kumar were returning from Bhiwadi in Rajasthan and were on their way to Naharpur Rupa village, where Mehto and Chand lived as tenants.

They missed the exit for Naharpur Rupa village and got on the Rajiv Chowk flyover. Upon realising their mistake, they slowed down the bike, which belonged to Ajay. It was then that a speeding car hit their bike from behind, injuring all three critically.
