Testing partner TCS has expressed formal regret to students for the inconvenience.

NTA Announces Fresh Re-Test for 3,765 CUET-UG Candidates ​Responding immediately to the system breakdowns during the CUET-UG shifts, the National Testing Agency (NTA) officially released a notice scheduling a fresh re-test. This measure specifically targets the 3,765 affected candidates who had to leave their examination centers due to technical failures.

​3. CBSE Addresses “Vulnerabilities” in Digital On-Screen Marking Portal
​Following intense public scrutiny after a teenage hacker exposed gaps in the system, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) stated that vulnerabilities identified in its OnMark portal have been contained. CBSE has deployed an expert team from the IITs and the government to further review, secure, and rule out any exploitable technical weaknesses.

​In an affidavit filed before the Supreme Court, the NTA confirmed that a high-level expert committee has formally recommended transitioning the medical entrance exam (NEET-UG) entirely to a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format starting in 2027.
