These 5 cooling face masks are all you need to beat the summer heat

Summer is here and people are already sweating. This time summer has arrived early in India and the temperatures are soaring. Apart from air conditioners,there is a lot that you can do to beat the summer heat. It becomes imperative to keep your skin protected from heat. Sunscreen is not the only option, you could also pull out some stuff from your kitchen that will give your skin all the strength it requires to face this scorching heat. Here are the 5 cooling masks that you need this summer.

1. Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe Vera is known to have several healing properties. And during summers, Aloe Vera Gel will help your face acne free, oil free and will keep it cool.  Since summers are also a lot about tanning, this gel will also reduce you summer tan.

2. Cucumber and Yogurt

Now who doesn’t know about the cooling properties of cucumber and yogurt.  All you need to do is grate one cucumber and mix the pulp with yogurt. You can take about 1 teaspoon of yogurt and just mix it thoroughly.  This face mask will keep your face hydrated and it is one of the best cooling face masks for summer. Cucumber will keep your skin cool and yogurt will give it enough moisturizing.

3. Egg and Lemon Juice

The biggest problem people with oily skin face during summer is the excessive oil.  And no amount of face wash helps. So what you can do is take one spoonful of honey, lemon juice and egg white. Mix these and apply it on your face. Let it sit for 20 minutes. It will reduce your oil and keep your skin moisturised.

4. Avacado and Honey

Avacado is a source of several minerals and vitamins. There is not better way to cool your skin than using avacado on your face.  Mash avacado and honey and apply this mixture on your face. It will keep your skin from early ageing. It will also help your skin get the much needed moisturiser in this extremely cruel weather.

 5. Banana Yogurt Mask

Another great face mask is this banana and yogurt mixture. Mash a banana and mix the pulp with two teaspoons of yogurt and you can also add one teaspoon of honey. Just apply this mixture on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes.
