6 New AIIMS, 25 Medical Colleges in UP, Yogi Government starts work on poll promise

6 new AIIMS and 25 Medical Colleges will be set up in Uttar Pradesh by Yogi Adityanath government. The establishment of AIIMS and medical colleges was one of the promises, which were made by Bhartiya Janta Party at the time of assembly polls. The work has been started on the commitment made by the government. As per Mr Ashutosh Tondon Gopalji, the proposal will be sent to the Centre once the area of the establishment will be finalised by the UP Government.

Keeping in mind prevailing population and to cater its need, it is high time to set up medical colleges and All India Medical Institutes. They will strive to get the institutes ready in upcoming 5 years. Apart from this, the government will also focus on filling up the teaching posts in Engineering Colleges considering the quality of education, which is being imparted to the students presently. By this upcoming session, the directions have been made to fill the 500 vacant posts of the teacher.
