8.3 crore BPL families to get free gas cylinders for 3 months: Sitharaman

While announcing the ₹1.76 lakh crore PM Garib Kalyan Yojna, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that under the Ujjawala scheme, around 8.3 crore below poverty line (BPL) families will get free cylinders for three months. She further said that around 20 crore women Jan Dhan account holders will receive ₹500 per month for the next 3 months.
