Three arrested for smuggling liquor

Three persons, in as many cases, have been arrested for allegedly smuggling liquor in the city and seized over 27 cartons, Excise department official said today.

Acting on tip offs, the Excise department team intercepted a car near Panchsheel Balak Inter College last night and arrested the driver Raqib and seized 27 cartons of smuggled liquor from the vehicle, said Kuldeep Yadav, District Excise Officer.
