ABSENCE OF MECHANISM TO TAKE MODI POLICIES DOWN LINE IS MAJOR CAUSE OF BIHAR POLL RESULTS

While reacting on the poll results of Bihar, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) said that absence of any mechanism to take down the line various landmark initiatives and policies of the Government including Mudra Bank Yojna, Skill India, Digital India and Make in India campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi could be one of the cause that becomes instrumental in poll results. Undoubtedly, no connect with beneficiaries of all these innovative schemes played a major role in debacle of NDA in Bihar polls. If transformed in its true letter and spirit, the NDA could have come out with flying colours in polls.
CAIT National President Mr. B.C.Bhartia and Secretary General Mr. Praveen Khandelwal said that undoubtedly Modi Government has taken various steps at policy level for social and financial inclusion of small people in the Country for the first time post Independence with utmost speed but the machinery responsible for implementation of these initiatives could not transmit the crux such schemes to the real beneficiaries nor the organisation representing such sections were taken into confidence for implementation. Small sectors like Traders, Transporters, Truck Operators, SMEs, self employed persons, hawkers, women entrepreneurs etc are the real voters and no effort was made to bring them in synergy with initiatives of the Government.
Giving example of MUDRA, both leaders said that it is one of the landmark initiative of Modi Government in past 68 years post Independence. A Mudra Bill needs to be passed by the Parliament to make it a Regulator. Even after lapse of four months time, the proposed draft of MUDRA Bill is entangled in files and no action has been taken so far depriving lakhs and crores of people from taking loans through MUDRA . Such conditions have vitiated policies of the Government to a great extent.
Both Mr. Bhartia and Mr. Khandelwal hoped that serious introspection will be made by the Government regarding implementation of these schemes with due diligence bringing smiles to these sections.
