Wave Infratech conferred with ‘Green Champion’ award by ‘Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)’

Wave Infratech, one of India’s leading real estate developers has been felicitated with the award ‘Developer with Large Green Building Footprint in India’ by ‘Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)’ for championing the cause of green in the country.

IGBC has acknowledged Wave Infratech as a leader in the field of green buildings and a true green champion of the country. The green portfolio of Wave Infratech has the largest contribution in the green movement and has played a major role in putting India in the 2nd position, on the world map, in terms of largest green building footprint.

Talking about the important milestone achieved by Wave Infratech, Dr. Prem C. Jain, Chairman, IGBC said, “We, at IGBC, are grateful to Wave Infratech for leading the Green Building Movement in India, with the single largest contribution in IGBC registered Green Building footprint of 3.2 billion sq. ft.”

The award was conferred to Wave Infratech at the IGBC Curtain Raiser event; on the eve of the Indian Green Congress 2015.
