#Unitech bosses spend night in jail over cheating case

The top bosses of realty company Unitech had to spend Monday night in jail after a day long court drama during which they were first sentenced to 14-day judicial custody in a cheating case filed by investors, then received bail from a higher court but failed to complete the formalities within the working hours of the court.

At the end of the day, Unitech chairman Ramesh Chandra, managing directors Sanjay and Ajay Chandra, and director Minoti Bahri, remained in custody for the night despite securing a three-day interim bail.
