Dankaur Govt school runs computers on solar power
he government aided Bihari Lal Inter College School in Dankaur has set up a solar powered computer lab on its premises. The system, necessitated by frequent power cuts in the area, stores solar energy and powers the 10 newly installed computers in the lab.
The school caters to 2,500 students, from classes I-XII. The students and school management believe that this new system is a giant leap in strengthening computer literacy and use of renewable energy. In case of inclement weather, the computers can be manually switched to use power backups and electricity.
