DELHI BJP DEMANDS WITHDRAWAL OF HIKE IN VAT ON PETROL-DIESEL ANNOUNCED BY KEJRIWAL GOVERNMENT

New Delhi, 19th January.  Delhi BJP Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay has condemned the Delhi Government for raising VAT on Petrol & Diesel.

Shri Upadhyay has said that Delhi is a revenue surplus state as claimed by Delhi Finance Minister Shri Manish Sisodia in his Budget speech and therefore this imposition of additional tax on the citizens of Delhi is uncalled-for.

Delhi BJP demands that Kejriwal Government should withdraw this anti people additional tax which will burden the middle class and is likely to increase freight charges on local transportation of essential commodities.
