Goel slams Kejriwal over Janlokpal bill
The Delhi BJP President Sh. Vijay Goel today condemned the Delhi Chief Minister and his colleagues for their attempts to violate the sanctity of Constitution and disrespecting parliament as an institution.
Commenting on CM’s letter to LG, “This government is pushing Jankolpal deliberately in an unconstitutional manner restrengthening the fact that AAP favours anarchy and pays scant regard to the constitutional authorities,” said Sh. Goel.
“There is already a Lokayukta in Delhi and a Lokpal bill has been passed by parliament. There is no need for the AAP govt to push for Janlokpal bill.Instead it should focus on strengthening the exisiting Lokayukta for which there is enough scope and need. This would help to curb the corruption effectively.”
Sh. Goel said, he also met with Bar Council of Delhi today on the issue of cancellation of Somnath Bharati’s licenese. The next date for the hearng has been fixed for March 7.
